There are so many online communities that can now be found on the internet. However, the biggest and the most popular video-sharing community around the globe is no other than YouTube. Aside from sharing videos and giving comments, you can now put annotations in your videos to make it more interactive and fun.
Video annotations would allow you to insert background information regarding the video you just uploaded. You can also create stories through the use of video annotations. The person who is viewing your video can choose which scene he wants to watch next. Aside from that, you may also link related videos in YouTube inside your video.
When you place a video annotation, you can still turn these annotations off as you watch the video. At the right corner of YouTube’s video player, the option to turn off the annotations in the videos can be seen by pressing the Menu button.
As of the moment, the video annotation from YouTube is still in its beta version and the annotations are available in one language only – English. But once the beta version is over, YouTube promises that the video annotations will be available in several languages including Chinese, Arabic, and more.
